Discovery Sunday School Class meets in the Room 127. This class consists of members ranging in age from 35 to 50 and averages 10 to 15 each Sunday. Members are mostly couples but singles are welcome (a few members are single). They typically use a combination of Bible study and contemporary issues (including parenting issues). They just finished studying “Beating Busyness” (a Discipleship Journal study). Past lessons have included several Max Lucado books. They are currently studying C.S. Lewis “Mere Christianity.”

Journey's Class

Journeys Sunday school class is an intergenerational adult class. They meet in the library (room 113), currently averaging 12 members per Sunday and have room for more. Typically their curriculum is Bible study. They are currently studying the book of Exodus. Everyone of every age is welcome.

Parents of Small Children

Parents of small children meet in Room 154. The class members are parents of young children and babies are welcomed. They are currently studying parenting topics using the Serendipity Bible with discussion. The group meets in the nursery so there is access to rocking chairs, baby swings and toys to keep the little ones occupied during discussions. This group is very supportive and offers great fellowship for parents.

Sisters

Sisters Sunday School Class meets in the Annex (Room 154). This class consists of members ranging in age from early 30's - 70ish and averages about 10 each Sunday. The format for this class changes from week to week – sometimes functioning as an open small/nurture group and at other times using study materials (depending on the needs of the group). Their “official” current study is the Second Sisters study entitled “Unfailing Love: Growing Closer to Jesus Christ.” The Sisters series are six-week studies with a video at the end of each week.

Seeds of Faith

Seeds of Faith Sunday School Class meets in the Annex (Room 150). This class consists of members ranging in age from 30 to 55ish and averages about 20 each Sunday. Members are couples, singles and married individuals with spouses serving elsewhere on Sunday mornings or who’s spouses don’t attend. Anyone looking for a Sunday School Class is welcome. They typically use a combination of Bible study and contemporary issues and there is always lively discussion. They are currently studying “Favorite Bible Passages.” Past lessons have included Methodism, Names of Jesus, the Book of James, Leslie Weatherhead’s “The Will of God” and Troublesome Bible Passages. We also have fun with three or four socials per year (games, swim party, bunko night, or just socializing – but they always involve eating). Everyone is welcome!
